Accessibility Statement

Last updated 20 March 2023

At SuperHi, we are committed to following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG) to ensure that our websites are appropriately usable and enjoyable for our users, regardless of disability. We also welcome user feedback about where we may be able to improve.

This accessibility statement outlines what we do to support accessibility, what we test and when, the status and limitations of our websites, technical specifications and compatibility information, and how to get in touch with feedback. It applies to the Bounties website (https://bounties.sh) maintained by SuperHi, Inc.

How we support accessibility

We take the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our websites:

  • We include accessibility in our internal policies
  • We integrate accessibility into our procurement and hiring practices
  • We provide continual accessibility training opportunities to our staff
  • We outline clear accessibility goals and responsibilities
  • We employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods

Testing covers our most popular pages, our most complex pages, and pages that include key actions on our websites such as log in or payment. Accessibility testing occurs throughout the development lifecycle, with a full audit occurring on or near a website launch and regular audits occurring every 6-12 months thereafter.

WCAG conformance status

The WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.

The Bounties website was last audited on 24 January 2023. It is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. We make our best effort to ensure the accessibility of our websites and are actively working to resolve the following known limitations:

  • Multiple ways (2.4.5): There is only one way to find pages on the website.

Please contact us via email at hi@superhi.com if you observe an issue not listed here.

Technical specifications and compatibility

The accessibility of our websites relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript for conformance with the accessibility standards we try to meet.

Our assessment methodology accounts for the following combinations of browsers, assistive technology, and operating systems (most recent versions):

  • Safari browser with VoiceOver screen reader on MacOS
  • Chrome browser with NVDA screen reader on Windows
  • iOS Safari browser with VoiceOver screen reader on iOS

Although we closely follow web standards in an effort to support a wide range of browsers and versions, our websites may not be compatible with browsers pertaining to less than 1% of the worldwide audience based on Browserslist. View list of browsers on Browserslist.

User-generated content

Our suite of websites enables people to create their own content. Although we encourage our users to consider accessibility when creating their content, we can’t guarantee the accessibility of their websites and content as they are not created by us and are not our responsibility.

Feedback

We welcome feedback regarding our accessibility practices and outcomes. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers on our websites or have suggestions by emailing us at hi@superhi.com. We try to respond to feedback within two days during our Monday–Thursday working week.
